40th Reunion Brunch - EVENT CANCELLED

Alumni from the class of 1983, celebrate your 40th Reunion with a special brunch in your honor! Reminisce while you feast on delicious food before a day full of fun. Alumni and their guests from the classes of 1981 and 1982 are invited, as well.

Alumni Award Ceremony & Lunch

Since 2002, Concordia University Irvine has recognized outstanding alumni with Alumni of the Year awards for Professional Achievement and Distinguished Service. In 2020, a new category was added to highlight G.O.L.D. Alumni - undergraduate alumni who have graduated within the last ten years. Selected by the Concordia Alumni Board of Directors with a goal to pay tribute to alumni and recognize their outstanding achievements and service to Concordia, their community, and/or their professions. Because the last two years have been in a virtual format, we invite all past Alumni Award Recipients and their families to attend.

Homecoming 2020 brunch

Family Musical Encounters Concert

Location: CU Center and Borland-Manske Center
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

A highlight of Alumni Homecoming! Bring the whole family for a fun, free, interactive concert performed by the Concordia Sinfonietta Orchestra starting in the CU Center and continuing to the Alumni Plaza of the Borland-Manske Center. Following the performance, families may enjoy interactive musical demonstrations for children in the Borland-Manske Center.

Family Movie

Location: CU Center
Time: 3:30 pm - 5:15 pm

Join us in the CU Center for a special movie event: Lyle, Lyle Crocodile! This PG movie should be a crowd-pleaser for young and old alike. Snacks will be available, so bring your family and come enjoy a movie before the evening events.

Time: 4:30 pm

The main event! Gather for food and fellowship INSIDE the Rodney Grimm Student Union before the basketball games. We’ll be serving traditional street tacos with all the accouterments, plus beer and wine - for free!
