Living Learning Communities

At Concordia University Irvine, you can make the most of our world-class education and campus experience. CUI believes that the learning environment extends beyond the traditional lecture hall or laboratory and into the informal learning spaces of the residence halls, recreation areas, and gathering places. Our residence halls provide many opportunities for you to create lifelong friendships, build leadership skills, work, have fun, and access academic support to keep you on the road to graduation and success. You will be supported and challenged to experience more and accomplish more so you can become the leaders who will transform yourselves and the world.

Students do not think of their lives as bifurcated by the classroom door. For students, college is a stream of learning opportunities.

Dear Students,

We are so glad you are here! As the Director of Residential Education and Housing Services, I work closely with the faculty and staff in residence to ensure your experience in the residence halls and within our LLC communities is fulfilling.

I want to take this time to ask that you prayerfully consider the opportunity to be our neighbor. Choosing to live in an LLC is such an incredible opportunity to connect with faculty and staff who are truly passionate about integrating your curricular and co-curricular experiences. The life application of your undergraduate studies is such a wonderful way to foster your passions, develop personally, and prepare for lifelong vocations well beyond your years at Concordia. I can personally assure you that our faculty and staff in residence care deeply about each of your individual academic endeavors and have a vested interest in preparing you for lives of learning, service and leadership. Again, we hope that you accept the invitation to join our community and we look forward to seeing you this fall!

Blessings,
