The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program at Concordia University Irvine is currently not accepting new students. The Department of Nursing is developing new nursing education opportunities to continue to meet the needs of a changing healthcare environment and create nurses of the future.

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Concordia University Irvine will prepare you for the next phase of your career – whether as a nursing leader in healthcare management or as a clinical/academic advanced nurse educator. The Nursing Leadership track focuses on the advancement of healthcare delivery in the clinical setting, while the Nursing Education track will equip you to teach nursing students in a variety of specialty content areas and become an advanced nurse educator in the hospital setting. The goal of the program is to equip you with expert knowledge and a set of skills that differentiates you in the field of healthcare and in your workplace.

Philosophy and Mission

Park Place Campus

Park Place campus is the home of Concordia University Irvine’s Nursing Program. This state-of-the-art facility features classrooms, two skills labs, and three simulation labs with high fidelity mannequins, where students can practice hands-on nursing skills for the healthcare environment.

The Park Place campus is located off of Jamboree Rd. and Michelson Dr., less than ten minutes away from Concordia’s main campus in Irvine, and offers free parking for guests with validation.

Concordia University Irvine's Nursing programs enjoys an excellent reputation, and has nursing graduates at hospitals throughout the region and nation.  Concordia University Irvine is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).   The Accelerated Baccalaureate of Science in nursing program and Master's of Science in nursing program at Concordia University Irvine are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791. The ABSN campus-based program in Irvine is accredited by WSCUC, and the new expansion hybrid ABSN program is pending WSCUC approval. The ABSN program at Concordia University Irvine has received ongoing approval by the California Board of Registered Nursing since 2009.
